The campsite is surrounded by hazelnut groves and vineyards in VERGNE, a small village located 3 km from Barolo. From the campsite you can set out for wonderful long walks or take a mountain bike or e-bike, on a network of perfectly signposted trails in breathtaking scenery: a boundless ocean of hills which were recently listed by Unesco. In an hour's walk you can reach the nearby towns of Barolo, La Morra and Novello, where you'll find countless restaurants, inns, wine shops and famous wineries.
Alternatively, it's just a few minutes' drive to the nearest towns - Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga and Roddi - with their imposing castles. In 15 minutes you can be in Alba, home every autumn to the famous Truffle Fair, or Bra, birthplace of the Slow Food association. An hour's drive takes you to the provincial capital Cuneo, or Turin with its famous monuments and shopping streets; or even to the beach to top up your tan. Near the campsite (10 km) you'll find the Cherasco Golf Club.

From Milan (190 km)
From the A21, take the Asti (Est) exit. After the toll booth, take the A33 (Asti-Cuneo) southwards heading for Alba (approx 30km); stay on the main road and follow signs for Barolo. Just before Barolo, bear right and continue towards VERGNE - the campsite is about 3 kms from Barolo. At VERGNE, pass the Buon Padre restaurant on the right; after the bend look for signs for the campsite on the left (50 metres).

From the A6 Turin - Savona motorway, take the Marene-Cherasco exit. At the large roundabout after the Cherasco toll booth, follow signs for Barolo (second exit) and follow the valley bottom road; after about 6 km turn left, following signs for VERGNE - La Morra. After 3 km you'll come to VERGNE; you'll see the sign for the campsite on your right, before the sports field - from here it is 50 metres.
From Savona

From the A6 Savona - Turin motorway, take the Mondovì exit. At the toll booth, head for Cherasco - Bra -Turin. After about 22 km (5km after the village of Monchiero), turn right, following signs for VERGNE - La Morra. After 3 km you'll come to VERGNE; you'll see the sign for the campsite on your right, before the sports field - from here it is 50 metres.
